Acceptance of this Privacy Policy

By using our websites or providing information to CropLife Latin America, you unequivocally consent to the collection, use, disclosure and retention of information in Latin American countries and territories, for the purposes established in this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of use by CropLife Latin America.

CropLife Latin America does not collect financial information, it collects personal information when you sign up for a user account, participate in online courses, send us emails, and / or participate in our public forums.

Purposes of the treatment of the information:

  • Send periodic information on the management, projects and campaigns carried out and led by the organization to the emails registered by the User.
  • Maintain the data of students who take courses on the Virtual Courses platform updated.
  • Consult and update users’ information and personal data.
  • Contract third parties for the storage and/or processing of information and personal data for the correct execution of the contracts entered into with us, under the internal and legal or regulatory security and confidentiality standards to which we are bound.

As a result, while we strive to protect the security of information, CropLife Latin America cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which is transmitted and doing so, you do so at your own risk. Once we have received such information, CropLife Latin America does its best to securely protect it within our systems. The security of the information also depends on you, as you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password used to access the different parts of our Site.

We do not share the information provided to us with unaffiliated groups without explicit authorization. We may share some of the personal information with some associated groups. For example: with third party associates and contractors - such as database administrators - in order to carry out our outreach work. These groups do not share this personal information with anyone, nor do they use it for any purpose other than that indicated by us.


Rights that assist the Holder of the information:

Please note that this Privacy Policy is regularly reviewed and changes are made.
