Continuous education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming agriculture. In 2025, CropLife Latin America’s free educational platform reaffirmed this commitment by recording a 6% increase in certificates issued, reaching a total of 11,871 certifications through its virtual course offering.
With ten courses available, the educational platform has become a space for accessible, practical learning aligned with the current challenges of the agricultural sector. These virtual courses are part of the CuidAgro Master Instructors Program, which last year focused on Ecuador, Paraguay, and El Salvador, thus complementing online training with in-person sessions.

Most in-demand courses
The course with the highest number of certificates issued was Responsible Management of Empty Crop Protection Product Containers – CampoLimpio, reflecting growing interest in proper container management, shared responsibility, and compliance with post-consumer regulations across the region.
This course will be updated in 2026 to incorporate new regulatory trends and best environmental practices. “We are working on a new version of the course, aligned with current requirements and with the environmental responsibility approach that society now demands. We expect to launch it next June,” said José Perdomo, President of CropLife Latin America.
The second most requested course was The Guide to the Life Cycle of a Pesticide, followed by the course on the International Code of Conduct on Pesticide Management, aligned with FAO guidelines.
Agricultural training as a driver of sustainability and good practices
Looking ahead to 2026, CropLife Latin America will continue strengthening its educational offering as part of the commitment of the companies it represents. “Our goal is to multiply knowledge in best agricultural practices, reach young people, and support generational renewal in rural areas,” added Perdomo. With this objective, the educational app was updated to make it more intuitive and to allow access to content even without a data connection, facilitating learning in rural areas.
The platform also plays a key role in the fight against illegal trade in agricultural inputs. The course Say NO to Illegal Trade, aimed at authorities and decision-makers, seeks to build greater understanding of this high-impact crime, promote a culture of legality, and help curb practices such as smuggling, counterfeiting, and product adulteration. Since its launch at the end of 2022, the course has issued 1,800 certificates by December 2025, mostly to authorities across the region.
Biopesticides and Integrated Pest Management: new high-demand content
In September 2025, CropLife Latin America launched the course Biopesticides in the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Strategy. In just four months, this content reached 715 certificates, confirming the growing interest in innovative, sustainable, and complementary solutions for pest management in modern agriculture.
Sustained growth based on knowledge
